We are planning a baby shower for one of my employees. She will be having her first baby and is ecstatic with joy and anticipation over the birth of her baby and being a new mom! She has so much to look forward to.

If your car is special, your car’s wax should be special. Naturally, you will want to use only high quality car wax. What is the best type of car wax?

First and foremost, whatever wax you choose make sure it contains carnauba wax. It is extremely shiny, durable and provides good protection for the pain underneath.

Waxes containing abrasives will provide the deepest shine and best reflective quality. However, be careful to use only those with very mild abrasives. Your car wax should be no more abrasive than your toothpaste.

Some waxes are soft, and some are hard. Typically, the harder waxes contain more carnauba wax. These will last longer, but they are more difficult to apply than soft waxes.  Hard waxes apply a little easier if warmed a bit between your fingers.

Finally, there is the option of special color enhancing waxes. Some of these are tinted, and some such as Dodo Juice color charged waxes are made with a color appropriate base. The wax, oil, and other ingredients are all of a light, warm, or dark coloring naturally. These kinds of colored waxes work best; it is like choosing the proper base paint for a tint.

Whatever kind of car wax you choose, be sure you apply it carefully to a clean and prepared surface.
